Take a Miami City Tour and do not Look Back

The city of Miami shines all year long and is a national vacation hot spot. It's a magnificent city, famous for its sprawling beaches and vivacious nightlife, and for the great view it offers. It is bordered by the sparkling waters of the Biscayne Bay to the east and the verdant Florida Everglades to the west.

Sports and Entertainment

If you are keen to vacation in Miami, a Miami city tour should top your itinerary. The city tour will take you to see all the famous places in the city that have been immortalized in American pop culture, like Downtown Miami, and the Brickell district. Brickell is the primary business district in Florida, and is renowned for its shiny jewelry stores, banks, schools, parks, and other cultural hotspots. The Miami city tour also takes you to the Coconut Grove, famous for the CocoWalk multicultural marketplace – a place where you can shop to your heart's content. Dinner Key and the Miami City Hall are the other key points of interest here. You will also be able to see the Coral Gables, home to the University of Miami (and the cheerleaders too, of course!).

Celebrities

A Miami bus tour is the next recommended activity on your list of Miami excursions. The tour will take you to the historically significant Villa Vizcaya, and thereafter to the homes of international celebrities Madonna and Sylvester Stallone. The tour then takes you to Little Havana, which hosts the vibrant Calle Ocho Festival, and the Venetian Causeway, which locals use as an exercising spot. The other Miami attractions you will be able to see include the Holocaust Memorial, and the place where the iconic superstar Michael Jackson filmed the video for his super hit 'Thriller'.

A Cultural Sensation

The Miami bus tour also includes a run through the streets of the Wynwood district, nicknamed 'Little San Juan' or 'El Barrio' by locals because of the high Puerto Rican population that immigrated there in the 1950s. A lot of fantastic shops, restaurants, and business can be found here. The next spot is Edgewater, which boasts of numerous residential high-rises and the Adrienne Arsht Centeris, which is the state's largest center for the performing arts. Art enthusiasts will also be interested in the Design District, the 1920s Buena Vista, and the glitzy Upper East Side districts. You also be able to see the MiMo Historic District, one of the premier Miami attractions.

Too much to Do

For those enchanted by the light blue water of the Biscayne Bay, you can take a Miami boat tour to see it up-close. The Florida Keys has been nicknamed as the Waterspout Capital of the World, and not because of the whales there, but because of spurts of water, almost like a water fountain, that shoot out from the ocean. They are an awe inspiring sight – and you will likely get to see one on your Miami boat tour. You will also see dizzying views of the Miami skyline, and views of the pristine South Beach and its art deco landscape, Ocean Drive, and the famous Versace Mansion. If you choose to extend your tour, you can visit the Fisher Island and Star Island, where many celebrities own luxury homes. You will also get to see the biggest cruise port in the world, the Port of Miami. At the beach, you can swim and scuba dive.

Miami is the Place to Be

The DEMA Trade, the Rainbow Reef, and Neptune Memorial are some of the other must-see locations in Miami. The Everglades National Park in the neighborhood, known as the 'River of Grass' because of the 1.5 million acres of saw-grass prairie it's home to, should also be a part of your Miami excursions.
