Traveling by bus to Key West

When traveling by bus from Miami to Key West, you will cross the famous Overseas Highway, Seven Mile Bridge, as well as more than 40 smaller bridges that are connecting more than 30 islands. Key West is a part of Florida Keys, and there are about 1700 smaller and bigger islands in the chain, but only around 30 of them are accessible and connected by bridges.

Taking the bus for the Key West tours is one of the most popular means of transportation until the island. The buses go from many places in Miami, but the two biggest pick up points are Miami Airport and Miami Beach. A ride by bus, in the best case, will last around 4.5 hours but this will also depend on the traffic on the highway.
